Anna's Hummingbird (Calypte anna) Feeding

 Hummingbirds use spiders' webs as a glue for their nests, which allows the nest to stretch as the baby hummingbirds grow. The eggs are the size of small jellybeans, and typically, the baby birds are almost fully grown when they leave the nest.
